Affected by the Trump administration's tariff policies, international logistics giant DHL recently announced that it will suspend shipping "business to consumer" (B2C) goods worth over $800 to American consumers starting from April 21st.
DHL announced on its official website that according to the new regulations of the US Customs, starting from April 5th, all goods declared with a value exceeding $800 must go through formal customs procedures, while the previous limit was $2500. This change has led to a surge in formal customs clearance business, making it difficult for the company to cope.
DHL said that its business to business (B2B) shipping services to the United States with declared prices exceeding $800 will not be suspended, but may face delays.
